Birthday Girl

It was an honor to help plan and decorate for Lil Miss Remi's first birthday party.  One year ago in May the most amazing little miracle came into this world and made my bestie and her husband a mommy and daddy.  What a loved little lady she is!  And watching Mandi be her mom has been SO.  MUCH. FUN.  Lil Remi reminds me so much of my lil Gracie.... she's one very serious, very busy, little person and has done her best to pay me back all the "tude" my girl gave her momma all those years ago!  She is stingy with the smiles for me but they are AMAZING when she blesses me with them!  And I love her "anyways"!   Happy birthday Remi (and family!!)  Thank you for including us in your special day!!

Graduation.... and Easter Photo Shoot

Grace graduated from preschool!  She is the tallest one - always, and knows all the words and signs to the songs.  So proud of her!!  She's standing next to her two bffs.... Conner and Olivia (on the end).  She was too quick for my camera with her diploma, too.  She was so proud and excited about Kindergarten!!  

And since we were all dressed up in our Easter clothes, I bribed the kids with ice cream and the creek to do a little photo shoot.  I love that my favorite one of them both (the second picture) doesn't even have any of the back ground I wanted in it.  :)  But that's ok - I'll take a "good shot" anytime - anywhere!!

End of School

We LOVE our Noah's Ark Preschool teachers.  Here they are with their towels, sunglasses, and beach bags all ready for the summer!  

Poolside Fun

I LOVE that I can trust my kiddos around the pool.  They spent as much time AROUND the pool as they did IN the pool this year.  So.  Much.  Fun.  And we love a good painting day!  This was Grace's first "still life"!  I LOVE her creative/ crafty mind!!

To The Firehouse

Cooper's class took a field trip tot he fire station last spring.  Tim and Grace got to tag along too!  They "showed off" for the kids sounding all the lights and sirens on ALL the trucks - AND they got a call while we were looking at the trucks!  We had to herd the kids out of the way while they sent one truck out.  Lot's of shhhhing while they listened for the call!!  A fun morning!!

My office just weeks before VBS.... I've been assured that it SHOULD look like this at this point.

Our very own Peep, Chirp, and Quack!  (Chirp [the red one] was originally looking suspiciously behind the dresser and I thought that would be kinda creepy, so he got new eyes!)

There will soon be a post about a BIG birthday party, and as a result, we had LOTS of frosting and cake tops leftover... "just like when I was little and mom used to do" I let the kids loose with the frosting bags....  ;)

What's for dinner?  Well.  What's in the freezer?  Three small portions of pasta sauce.  Some random frozen pasta, and a couple lasagna cheeses!  Wallah - Italian yumminess!!
