With all the excitement of Tim's new job, camping never really happened. We did find a few days to slip away to do some or our favorite things.... hitting the beach and lego land! And, I rather prefer this kind of camping anyway! Grace and I discovered CRAFT WARS! So cool! At the beach the kids loved scooting down the dunes on their hineys, playing in the sand and water, swinging at sunset, playing soccer in the sand, and playing an umbrella game Grace had made up WEEKS in advance! We found a great little Italian restaurant and took in a nature hike and got to meet Buddy from the Dinosaur Train at the nature center. Our guide asked if the kids could guess some smells she had, and ours guessed catsup. ?!?! We made it up to Lego land where the kids loved the ride, made their own cars to test on the ramps, and enjoyed the 4D short films. (the 4 is wind, snow, RAIN, ect...). And, we happened to be there on our ninth wedding anniversary - the last pic is just how we roll!! What a great nine years - Ridiculously blessed!!
