Tim had the awesome opportunity to travel to China for a week long educational exchange program through the school. Though reluctant to leave us, he's not one to pass up an all expense paid trip overseas! So while he had an amazing time, we kept to the routine while he was gone.
First morning he was gone.... crazy fog! Sleepy boy after school. Christmas pageant prep at church. (They are so cute!) And a check up at the doctor. Grace was loving school but complaining that her "heart" hurt. Stress? Reflux?? HEART?!?! Everything checked out fine, and no complaints since.
Daddy left us projects to do while he was gone... both were finished rather quickly!! Love from my girl, crazy first snow, more Christmas pageant practice, and face time sessions that were like wrestling matches!!
Dress up fun for dad. Discounted Halloween costume find!! The daddy tracker telling us what he was up to all week. We followed him across the door and journaled about our days !! And, Cooper and I love us a good Taco Tuesday lunch!
Besides not being able to go with Tim, the worst part of the trip was Tim missing Grace's first school program. She had a line that she delivered flawlessly as well! She was so excited to get all dress up for it! Also, Cooper had his Thanksgiving lunch that I was able to help with. SO CUTE.
And then Daddy came home. And though tired - all was well. There was no picture of Grace arriving home as she RAN ME OVER to get to Tim. Priceless!! He brought us treats from China, too. Looking forward to the day we can all go to China!!
I must keep blogging.....
2012 was great - but 2013 is shaping up to be AMAZING!! Must get through this so you can hear about our spring break to DISNEY WORLD!! (What?! That's right!!! DISNEY WORLD!!!)
