Birthday Breakfast

Let the festivities begin!!

 Monica and Eian's gift arrived the day before his birthday and since they were available to Skype, we went ahead and opened them up.... Super Hero coloring book - WALL DECALS - and How to Train Your Dragon movie : AWESOMENESS!  Super Hero thumb wrestlers arrived later and were also a hit!  Thank you Aunt Monica and Eian!!  (Those are our tough faces by the way.... :)

Cooper was overheard telling the track kids yesterday that "The first and second ones (How to Train Your Dragon Movies) were similar, but one was supposed to be scary while the other one wasn't."  Ha!  Love that kid and his crazy vocabulary!!

Spring Fever

All this early spring weather inspired us to get out and explore the reservoir.  Each year the kids get better at doing new stuff - SO MUCH FUN!  We're all looking forward to summer camping trips and adventures!!

One of my favorite days to celebrate!  Green Eggs and Ham wraps, hat pancakes, heart bacon ('cause I love my family!), Hat desserts, games, arts and crafts, decorations, and fish snacks!  Grace and I hung out at the library that day for more Cat in the Hat fun!!  Good times!!

Staff vs. Studnets

We were again able to attend Tim's intramural basketball game this year.  He racked up a couple of quick fouls (pretty sure he wasn't anywhere NEAR one of them) but then got in his groove and made us proud. Cooper was his biggest fan, and Grace loves her daddy - just not sitting in the stands.  :)  Cooper joined him on the bench for half time and then by the end of the game he was just playing half court basket ball.... he said because they were killing them.... I'm no so sure.  ;)

Leap Day

I wanted to blog on leap day since I wouldn't be able to for another four years, but because it was crazy nice out I couldn't bring myself in to sit in front of the computer!  This was back before the bikes were ready so we walked (or rather ran!) to the park!  As I look at my pictures, I realize that February started out unseasonably warm (HERE) and ended the exact same way!  What a great winter!!
