Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve with the Coopers is always a good time!  A little Uno, some balloons and entertaining Nick and then comphy jammies!  :)

Tis the Season...

For Christmas Programs!
Grace had her first school program this year.  Grandma and Grandpa, Grandpa Gene and The Coopers joined us for her big debut.  :)  The day before we had a "run through" at home with Cooper's help and a choir of stuffed animals.  :)  She also was so excited that she asked if I would help her practice standing up and sitting down for her program.  (There was a point when she was to sit while the teacher talked.)  So cute!  They sang about 15 songs - and Grace knew ALL of them!  (I would think Cooper knew them all as well as as we had been singing them since October!!)  This first picture is when I think she saw us and was trying to say with her eyes,  "Yes, I see you Mom and Dad - I'm not supposed to wave at you!!"  That's my girl!  You can see by the last picture that she was VERY into her performance!  Nick enjoyed the show and Cooper's antics as well!

I also helped with our church's Christmas pageant, The Fumbly Bumbly Angels.  We started up in the balcony singing Angels We Have Heard On High.  I hear they sounded pretty good from up there.  Grace had one line that she delivered very quickly while rocking back and forth.  ("No way, lady!")  Cutie!  Tim and Cooper had good seats in the front row of the balcony!

Christmas Shoebox Shopping

Back in November Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to see the We Care Christmas trees and go shopping to fill shoe boxes.  Grace LOVES to shop.  Cooper does not.  :)  They enjoyed the trees and survived the shopping.  (Nice group shot, too!)  Back at the farm they enjoyed the fall leaves, big comfy chairs, and watching the combines work.  Tim and I enjoyed a date night and sleeping in in the morning!  Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!!

Oh Christmas Tree!

My annual picture of the kids in front of the tree.  :)
See here for Christmas Past...
(You'll have to scroll down past the potty training and feeding posts....but they are fun, too! :)
Next year we'll have a new, bigger tree!  We got a great deal on one this year.... 90% off!  Woohoo!

Fun Around the House

My husband.  Went shopping.  On "Black Friday".  ?!?!  He actually went out on Thanksgiving to Wal.mart leaving the house at 8:30 for an XBOX that was going on sale at 10:00.  ?!?!  Who is that man and what has he done with my husband?!  With the economy the way it is (we discuss it a lot around here) companies are making products so cheap you can't NOT buy them.  (Not sure I follow his line of thinking, but I act like I do and I trust him.)  So we now have an XBox to play and several new games!  (Oh, and with the kids so little, - and I'm sure it was as much for him as them- we went ahead and opened it on Black Friday!)  Here are the boys playing Madden.  Grace and I love the Kinect games.  He was actually home by 11:00 so I could go to Kokomo.  And stand in line for 3 hours at Old Navy.  Been there.  Done that.  Not going to do it again.

Grace and Cooper are very into spy stuff right now, and here she is going through her spy bag.  :)  She also loves to create.... and she did just that this vacation!  An empty ribbon spool + several boxes and gift wrap tubes + and two jello boxes = Wall E!!  So cute!!

Oops... more Museum

This backpack is on display in the Take Me There - Egypt exhibit.... not sure what they are teaching their kids over there!!  More mirror fun.... and oh yea:  All on my fancy new phone!!!  (Tim finally convinced me to drop our land line. :(   I guess I'll have to get [gotten!!] over it!)

Museum Trip

After school let out we headed to the museum.  We've been waiting all year for the slide!  This was as good as I could do with my camera!!  Also, we were able to see Santa again this year.  Cooper wouldn't sit by himself, but would talk to him; though he didn't know what he wanted for Christmas!  Also, on the way out we each posed as tough Bumblebees (which the kids both got one for Christmas!  Man they don't make Transformers like they used too!).
